Priyanka Chopra greenest ambassador of UNICEF Global Goodwill

Bajairo Mastani actress has been appointed, as the newest ambassador for UNICEF. She has work for 10 years with UNICEFF and at last got success in promoting the various causes such as environment, health and education, and women's rights and is particularly vocal about gender equality and radicalism across the world.


The football legend, David Beckham, has recently launched Priyanka Chopra into the worldwide UNICEF family. The Bajirao Mastani actress was appointed as a Global Goodwill ambassador for UNICEF for helping the children in getting their rights along with the Beckham and other Hollywood actors Orlando Bloom and Jackie Chan.

Priyanka ask to column a few pictures on the Instagram to share her achieving moments with her fans and loved ones. On receiving the honor, the actress allegedly said, " 10 years ago in India, I started working with UNICEF on such issues. Today, I am getting such honor because of it only and I would like to thanks the UNICEF team to choose me fore such a great cause”.

She further added, “, I have been on many field trips to villages and centers across India and on those voyages I come to know where our country is lacking .So I decided to raise those issues where children’s rights are appreciated and sheltered." During my voyages in India,
, I used to spent time with several young girls and their families and educated them and also tell what there rights and how to achieve it.

UNICEF Executive Director Anthony Lake was supposedly all admiration for the Baywatch actress, saying, “Priyanka Chopra is angel for India’s children — and as a UNICEF global Goodwill Ambassador, she will be a working for broods and juveniles everywhere.” PC wrote, " the India have hided brilliants in it who can bear the astonishing work and can work to those who need it crossways the world as @UNICEF's Global Goodwill Ambassador.  He was speaking in their 70th anniversary and said that I look forward to employed with my fellow supporters to determine alteration in attitudes and safeguard that we shape a world where children's rights are esteemed and endangered, and that there is a voice."

Priyanka Chopra, born on 18 July 1982 is an Indian actress, singer, film producer, philanthropist, and the winner of the Miss World 2000 pageant. In 2016, the Government of India honored her with the Padma Shri, the fourth highest civilian award, and Time magazine named her one of the 100 most influential people in the world. Although Chopra initially aspired to study aerospace engineering, she accepted offers to join the Indian film industry, which came as a result of her pageant wins, making her Bollywood debut in The Hero (2003).  In 2015, she initiated featuring as Alex Parrish on the ABC thriller series Quantico, becoming the first South Asian woman to front-page an American network series. In 2016, she produced the much-admired comedy-drama Fan.

Additional to her acting career, Chopra is recognized for her philanthropic work. She has worked with UNICEF for the last ten years and was selected as the national and global UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador for Child Rights in 2010 and 2016 respectively. She promotes various causes such as environment, health and education, and women's rights and is particularly vocal about gender equality and radicalism. Chopra's off-screen life is the subject of considerable media coverage. As a recording artist, she has released three singles. She is also the founder of the manufacture company Purple Pebble Pictures.
