Happy Bhag Jayegi - Box Office Collection and Movie Review
Happy Bhaag Jayegi has released on this Friday! Box office collection shows that it has gained Rs. 2.32 crore on its opening day. It has gained momentum on weekend for good collections.
Diana Penty, Abhay Deol, Jimmy Sheirgill, Momal
Sheikh, Ali Fazal, Kanwaljeet and Piyush Mishra starrer “Happy Bhag Jayegi”
movie released on 18 August 2016 is doing average business. However its
beginning collection is pretty well but may because of a weak script, it fail
to enter in the list of hit movies 2016.
Directed by Mudassar Aziz, the story of
movie begins with a pretty Punjabi girl Happy (Diana Penty) who is on the runway
to find her prince charming Guddu (Ali Fazal), a Pakistan handsome Gabru. The twist
comes with the entry of her father, a bad boy Bagga (Jimmy Shergill) and
Pakistani gentleman Bilal (Abhay Deol). In
the beginning, the story goes very well and you find a number of reasons to smile
but soon the movie starts declining from its path and left you fend for
yourself as there is nothing that makes you laugh and enjoy more. The film gives you a substantial feel of
Pakistan with bunch of lovely locations and characters who speaks Urdu
dialogues and looks real Pakistani.
The whole story idea revolves around this
pretty runaway bride and her adventurous journey to Pakistan. Audiences have mixed reviews that show that this
movie will do average business in the box office. But in the analysis of star
cast choice, script and presentation etc., it has many suspensions. For example, lovable Penty with wide eyes does
not look a perfect fit for Punjabi Bindas Kudi role. She has tried hard to
prove a good fit for this character. Shergill and Abhay Deol characters make
some sense and give reasons to watch this movie one time. Overall, it is a
cheerful movie with a dash of romance and fantasy and offer full entertainment
without logics.
If we compare it with the Akshay Kumar’ Rustom, it lags behind. Rustom again remain a first choice to watch this weekend too.
